Customer Reviews

Shockingly good

These movies are really unexpectedly entertaining . I had no hope they could make anything out of it but they pulled it off . The creators really took a lot of pride and care to make something special . I used to read the X-MEN comics when I was a kid when the writer was Chris Claremont . Great stuff and these movies capture the spirit of those comics perfectly . Casting is great and the visuals and special effects have the wow factor . A lot of other reviewers have summed it up better than I could ; just wanted to add to the positive reviews . There is one downside like some have mentioned . Killing off Jean was kind of unsatisfactory way to end the series ... not so soon anyway . Plus maybe there should have been more variety besides always having Magneto at the center of it all . Even though he was an awesome villain for sure . That said I shudder that any other Director or creators should take over the helm because I doubt they could do as good a job as was done here .

X-Men, X-Men United and X-Men "The Last Stand" are simply spectacular! The cast, the characters, the special effects, the story, the action scenes, and everyhting else seems to work to make these movies the best movie trilogy ever!!!.I have seen lots of movies in my life, but nothing compares and comes close to X-Men.
