Another great sequel

This time Rocky is challenged by a ruthless Soviet boxer named Ivan Drago (Dolph Lungdren) who killed Apollo creed in a match, The match is held in russia and rocky goes there to train and then beat the sh-t outta Drago. This is another entertaining sequel with a good fight at the end, a must see for all rocky fans.

Cold War Rumble

Ok, I grew up in the 80s. Rocky IV came out while I was young and impressionable. But I loved it then and love it now. Sure, I recognize that it isn't the best made movie and it rehashes a lot of themes from the first three movies, but just remember these great lines:

"I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change."

"I must break you"

and more! The soundtrack is one of the best motivating soundtracks out there, and I would advise picking it up if you like Rocky movies.

For those of you who didn't catch it while it was hot, Rocky IV shows Rocky trying once again to retire (he does take a lot of blows to the head) but because of poor financial management, going back into boxing. After Apollo Creed gets pummelled by the big Russian, Rocky decides to take him on - in the USSR (before it broke up, remember?). It's a great contract in styles - Ivan Drago, the Russian machine, labratory built v. Rocky, the classic American story - a little man building himself up from the bottom. Great training sequences, great fight scene at the end - it's a great feel-good movie. If you're a cynic, you will find plenty wrong with it, but I wouldn't recommend being a cynic.

My Favorite Movie

Rocky IV has been my favorite movie since 1993. I got real pumped when I first heard the song "Eye of the Tiger." One reason I like Rocky IV is because of how good Sly and all the rest of the stars look. Both Rocky and Drago look good in their suits. Sly's eyes don't look real droopy and they're evened up and he looks well shaved and tanned like there's lots of makeup on him. Drago and Ludmilla look good. I like Rocky's house and car, the robot, Apollo's patriotic robe and hat. James Brown did a good job singing. I like everything in the entire movie. The entire setup is real professional to please the audience. Not only do the actors look good but everything else does too. The main thing that has inspired me most of my life is Sly's fitness. Rocky does a fantastic job training in Russia. I've looked up to him for a long time. I've got the soundtrack which is real good. I used to blast out the soundtrack songs while exercising. Drago was in fantastic shape also and he looked real good (his hair was fixed and he was well shaved). The entire movie is a patriotic inspiration; therefore, lately I've been exercising and keeping clean. It feels good to be in shape. I prefer that you buy it.
